Nifty kicks lady! When I was a kid my parents would take us to East Brookfield, MA to buy sneakers. At 3 dollars a pair we were encouraged to pick out 2 pairs each. A pilgrimage I always looked forward to. The ability to walk up and down isles of brightly colored Uniroyal canvas shoes and pick out a pair was such a thrill. The brand has long since gone. The price of a simple sneak is certainly not what it used to be. The memory of that childhood pleasure remains.
